Why SSO comes last in onboarding
SSO setup typically requires coordination with the customer's IT team and back-and-forth on identity provider config. Doing it early blocks course-building work that has nothing to do with SSO. Get the LMS working with HubSpot's native membership system first, then layer SSO on top.
If SSO setup stalls
You can fall back to HubSpot's native membership-based access (approximately 2 hours of work to switch). This unblocks the launch while the SSO configuration is being resolved.
