When a user starts a course, a MyCourse record is created and associated with their contact record. This record automatically updates with details such as the number of lessons completed, total lessons, percentage of the course finished, and the course status (started, certified). You can see the status of a user's courses directly on their CRM contact record. Furthermore, you can create custom views or lists for the MyCourses object to get a broader overview of user progress across different courses, filtering and sorting by properties like contact name, course name, status, and start date. Reporting dashboards can also be built to summarize this data. The Membership Last Private Content Access Date on the contact record also indicates recent portal activity.
