Configure HubLMS Domain and Branding
Learn how to set up a custom domain and customize the visual appearance of your HubLMS portal.
- Navigate to HubSpot's theme settings. An easy way is to go to any dashboard page, click "Edit", and select the theme (e.g., Theme HubLMS Enterprise).
- In the theme settings, locate "brand colors" and apply your company's primary, secondary, background, link, and child menu colors.
- To see updates, scroll down and hit apply or publish, or click the button to see changes on the front end.
- Go back to the theme editor (click up to the theme editor from settings) and access the HubLMS Enterprise section.
- Update specific colors for elements like announcement banners, attended events, card backgrounds, and resource listings within the theme editor.
- Ensure button colors are pulling from primary/secondary colors.
- Review typography settings to ensure link colors are set correctly.
- Publish updates to see changes reflected on the front end.
- To set up a custom domain, navigate to HubSpot Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll down to Content > Domains and URLs.
- Add a new domain (typically a subdomain like academy.yourcompany.com).
- Select the content types the domain will be used for (at minimum, "website pages").
- Follow the steps to confirm the domain setup. You may need to provide CNAME records to your IT team to point the subdomain (e.g., academy) to the required HubSpot data.
- Once your IT team has updated the DNS records, verify the domain in HubSpot settings. This can take some time.
- Once verified, the domain status will show as ready for publishing.
- Assign your HubLMS system pages (dashboard, course listing, etc.) and course pages to this custom domain in their page settings.
