Configure HubLMS System Pages & Emails

Learn how to manage private content settings, disable self-registration, and customize the default registration invitation email.

  1. Navigate to HubSpot Settings (gear icon).
  2. Scroll down to Content > Private Content.
  3. Consider disabling "Self-registration" if you don't want unknown users to register without a specific process.
  4. Set the website admin name and email address; this email should be your support inbox.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Locate the "Registration emails" section.
  7. The default registration invitation email is initially used.
  8. To customize it, click "create new" and start from scratch using the drag and drop editor.
  9. Add your logo, ensuring it's no larger than 600 pixels wide. Make the logo link to the system or a relevant page.
  10. Customize the email content to clearly instruct the user on the next steps, like setting their password. Avoid excessive exclamation points.
  11. Include the crucial membership registration link. Do not modify the link itself, but you can customize the button text (e.g., "Set your password now").
  12. Optionally, include the plain text version of the membership registration link for users whose email clients might block the button. You may need to view the source code of the button to get the raw link.
  13. Add contact information for support.
  14. Save and publish your customized registration email template.
